Job Title: Regional Substitute Teacher (Floater as needed)


Period of Employment: Full time/year round

Hours: 40hrs per week

Program/Department:Head Start

Salary: $13.57-$15.40 DOE

 

General Summary:

Under the direction of the Center Director, provides instruction and assists in planning and implementation of center-based curriculum for children and families to meet all requirements outlined in the Head Start Performance Standards. *Please refer to the job description for the complete explanation of duties and responsibilities

 

Qualifications:

24 ECE units and at least 3 units Admin/Supervision. Original (or certified copies) of all credentials or certificates and college transcripts indicating applicable coursework to meet requirements of position as a condition of employment

General Summary:

The Center Director serves as the educational lead for a center in the Early Head Start Program with responsibilities including the following: -Ensures full implementation of all aspects of Child Start's early learning program

 

Qualifications:

AA degree in Early Childhood Education required/BA preferred. -2 years previous experience teaching in an early childhood setting; experience with supervision, management or coaching preferred. -Experience managing a preschool program .

Hours: Full Time/ Non-Exempt

Program/Department:Head Start/ Early Head Start

Salary: : $16.01-$20.71 depending on education

 

General Summary:

Under the direction of the Center Director, supports the day to day care for infants and toddlers in an Early Head Start classroom using developmentally appropriate practices and curriculum, Program for Infant and Toddler Care (PITC) philosophies, building responsive relationships with children and families as outlines in Early Head Start Performance Standards.

 

Qualifications:

AA or BA degree in ECE/Child Development or related degree, including 6 Infant/Toddler units and at least 3 units Admin/Supervision Preferred. And Minimum of one year teaching experience in a licensed infant/toddler child care center or comparable group child care program (previous experience teaching in an Early Head Start program highly desired) Or • Minimum of 24 ECE units, including 6 Infant/Toddler units and at least 3 units Admin/Supervision. And Minimum of one year teaching experience in a licensed infant/toddler child care center or comparable group child care program (previous experience teaching in an Early Head Start program highly desired) • Touch points trained or will need to go to next training. CECFFL Training desired • Original (or certified copies) of all credentials or certificates and college transcripts indicating applicable coursework to meet requirements of position as a condition of employment. • 15 hours Health and Safety

Job Title: Early Head Start Home Base Visitor and Substitute Teacher Needed


Period of Employment: Year Round for FDFY

General Summary:

Responsible for the development and implementation of individualized programs for infant/toddlers and their families, in the context of the family’s culture and with maximum participation of the parents, as the primary teachers of their children.

 

Qualifications:

AA/BA in Early Childhood Education with a minimum of 3 units in Infant/Toddler studies, or AA/BA in Social Work, Psychology, or other related field AND Two years of full-time experience in teaching low-income, multi-ethnic infants/toddlers. OR 12 Core ECE units including 3 units Infant/Toddler required. Bilingual English/Spanish required

 

Job Title: On Call Substitute Teacher


Period of Employment: On Call As Needed


Program/Department: Early Head Start/Head Start

Salary: $11.61 per hr. (No Interview Required)

 

General Summary:

: Provides support to the center staff to facilitate optimum delivery of services. Responsible for partnering with the teaching staff to further the emotional, cognitive and social development of Head Start children by implementing relationship-based, developmentally appropriate program services.

 

Qualifications:
