Job Title: Lead Preschool Teacher


Period of Employment: Full Time

Hours: 40hrs/ week

General Summary:

Qualifications:

General Summary:

Responsible for the coordination of program services in the content areas of health and nutrition that maintains compliance with Performance Standards, State Licensing regulations and CACFP guidelines.

 

Qualifications:

1. A.A. or A.S. in a related field and Two years experience in the field of health/nutrition service working with low income pregnant woman, infants, toddlers, and preschool children. OR Equivalent combination of experience or education from which comparable knowledge and expertise has been gained. 2. Effective communication, organizational, inter-personal, computer, and research skills 3. Bilingual English/Spanish Pref

 

 

Job Title: Early Head Start Child Care Partnership Coach


Period of Employment: FT/12 months

Hours: 40hrs/ week

Program/Department:Early Head Start/Head Start

General Summary:

The Early Head Start – Child Care Partnership (EHS-CCP) Coach works in partnership with licensed child care centers and family child care homes, contracted Early Head Start Providers, and Early Head Start Families to ensure comprehensive services and high quality child care in Napa and Solano Counties.

 

Qualifications:

Profession requirements based on the current Head Start Program Performance Standards and Head Start Act: a. A baccalaureate or advanced degree in early childhood education; OR A baccalaureate or advanced degree and coursework equivalent to a major relating to early childhood education, with experience teaching preschool-age children

 

 

Job Title: Regional Substitute Teacher (Floater as needed)

General Summary:

The This position suppoirts the larger system of social services coordinated by the Early Head Start-Child Care Partnership(EHS-CCP) grant, thereby supporting the overall goal of the program; to establish working relationships with local child care partners to provide comprehensive services to enroll families. The FSHC works closely with child cvare partners in both center-based and family child care home settings to support and assist families as they identify and meet their own personal goals and their child's school readiness goals.

 

Qualifications:

An Associate of Arts degree in child development, social services or a related field or program, AND two years full time experience, providing social services to low income, multi-ethnic children and their families OR A Human Services Certificate OR Family Development Credential AND at least three years of full time experience, providing social services to families OR Five years full time, verifiable work experience, providing social services to families.

 

 

Job Title: Associate Teacher


Period of Employment: Year Round for FDFY or 9.5 months for PDPY sites

Hours: 40hrs/ week

Under the direction of the Center Director, supports the day to day care for infants and toddlers in an Early Head Start classroom using developmentally appropriate practices and curriculum, Program for Infant and Toddler Care (PITC) philosophies, building responsive relationships with children and families as outlines in Early Head Start Performance Standards.

 

Qualifications:

AA or BA degree in ECE/Child Development or related degree, including 6 Infant/Toddler units and at least 3 units Admin/Supervision Preferred. And Minimum of one year teaching experience in a licensed infant/toddler child care center or comparable group child care program (previous experience teaching in an Early Head Start program highly desired) Or • Minimum of 24 ECE units, including 6 Infant/Toddler units and at least 3 units Admin/Supervision. And Minimum of one year teaching experience in a licensed infant/toddler child care center or comparable group child care program (previous experience teaching in an Early Head Start program highly desired) • Touch points trained or will need to go to next training. Salary: $11.61 per hr. (No Interview Required)

 

General Summary:

: Provides support to the center staff to facilitate optimum delivery of services. Responsible for partnering with the teaching staff to further the emotional, cognitive and social development of Head Start children by implementing relationship-based, developmentally appropriate program services.

 

Qualifications:
