Our Library Partners
Even before completing the Raising A Reader program, participating children and their families are encouraged to discover the wonderful books available at their local libraries. At the end of each program year, children moving on to kindergarten receive their very own blue library bags and families are encouraged to sign up for summer reading programs at local libraries. Local librarians frequently conduct story times at community preschool sites and library staff assist new parents obtain their first library cards. We are particularly grateful to our Library Partners for their continuing support of Raising A Reader and dedication to opening up a child’s world through books.
