General Summary:
The IT Coordinator will be responsible for creating and maintaining an efficient and secure IT environment for the organization.
The IT Coordinator must identify potential problems and develop solutions.
The position requires a high degree of responsibility and technical ability.
The IT Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining Child Start, Inc.‘s computer systems, on-site and remote site network infrastructure, and software applications . The successful candidate will have a strong background in technical/helpdesk support, network administration, server management, and Microsoft 365 environment. The IT Coordinator will report directly to the IT Manager.
Education and Experience :
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Associate degree in Information Technology and 3 years of experience in IT support and administration.
- At least 1 year of experience in Microsoft 365 administration and configuration.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams and other related services.
- Strong understanding of computer systems, hardware, and software.
- Experience with network infrastructure administration.
- Experience with basic configuration and administration of network devices, including routers, switches and firewalls.
- Strong understanding of network protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, routing, VLANs, switching and network security.
- Experience with basic server management and administration.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
